This hail storm traveled from the Southwest area of the airport in Irving towards the Northeast into Las Colinas, Coppell, Lewisville, Farmers Branch, and Carrolton. It hit at approximately 3:00p.m. on a Tuesday, so many cars were hit while exposed in office parking lots. We’ve heard some reports that hail dropped for over 12 minutes in a single location.

Here’s a video of the hail hitting a swimming pool. You can see the frequency and size of the splashes that this hail storm would cause a lot of damage to any cars caught in it’s path.
